Tampa Prep senior Grace Fredlake verbally committed to Notre Dame.

Fredlake plans on signing her letter of intent at a ceremony on Friday at the school. The swim team captain and one of the area’s top distance swimmers, Fredlake recently won a bronze medal at the Class 1A State Swimming & Diving Championships. She also placed fifth in the 200 individual medley.

Fredlake, who also swims for Tampa Bay Aquatics, picked the Irish over Florida State, Indiana, Northwestern and Princeton.
