Please make note of the fact that the Cass Street Bridge will be closed for repairs beginning on Monday July 20, 2009. The City of Tampa has informed us that repairs are expected to be completed within approximately ninety days from that date.

It is my suggestion that families identify and practice alternate routes to and from school long before the first day of classes so as to avoid the frustration of high volume traffic detours and delays.

Opening Convocation and the first day of classes are scheduled to begin at 8:00am on Thursday August 20, 2009 in the Walter Athletic Complex Gymnasium. A reception for speakers, guests and the Class of 2010 will follow in the Smith Black Box Theater Pavilion.
