Dear Parents/Swimmers,

TBAY will be having a HUGE event October 7th Sunday at Clearwater beach!!!! Saturday Morning Practice will be canceled due to our OPEN WATER SWIM @ our FUN IN THE SUN Sunday October 7th. This event will BE HUGE!!! I hope and EXPECT everyone to make it. Check the TBAY web site for directions to this event!

There will be a :
1/2 mile open water swim
1 mile open water swim
2 mile open water swim

Each open water swimmer will be given a specific color cap for his/her distance race. 2 milers go off at 8:45am, 1 milers 8:50am, 1/2 milers at 8:55am. Check-in starts at 8am sharp and a safety meeting at 8:30. If you do not feel comfortable being in ocean water there will be dryland activities given on the beach!!!

We will have fun relay races and activities after the open water swim for all TBAY swimmers. The cost is $8 per person, which includes prizes for the relay games, swim caps, and more. Please bring a potluck dish, snacks and drinks.

Remember this will be your Saturday morning practice. Lets all go out there and show TBAY PRIDE!!! I'll be out there in a kayak watching you kids swim. PLEASE DON'T TIP ME OVER KIDS!!!!!!

I will start collecting the fee at Thursday afternoon practice with a sign in sheet!!! Lets try and get our whole branch out there!!!!! What do you all say!!!!!
